The compendia, supported by two grants from the Margaret Fuller Grants Program, were compiled and edited by Beverly Anderson Forbes, Ed.D, and address the themes of spirituality and a vision of life for women.

SUPPORTED BY A UUWF GRANT
The 2007-8 revised versions of Cakes for the Queen of Heaven “In Ancient Times” and “On the Threshold” are updates of the ground-breaking feminist theology curriculum, developed originally by Shirley Ranck and published by the Unitarian Universalist Association in 1986.
“In Ancient Times” was partially supported by funds from the UUWF Grants Program (now the Equity and Justice Program). It focuses on female images of the divine from prehistory through early patriarchy, relating this information to central issues in women’s lives.
