Planned Parenthood Under Congressional Attack

Along with more than 50 other organizations, UUWF signed onto a letter to Congress standing with Planned Parenthood and its health centers, whose federal funding is once again being threatened by attempts to attach this action to unrelated bills.

The latest efforts to cut off crucial support for their reproductive health care services offered to millions of women and men is based on allegations that Planned Parenthood (along with other clinics) profits from donations of fetal tissue for medical research. In fact, these donations are voluntary and legal.
